Crow Holdings Capital Partners raises $604 million for sixth fund

Crow Holdings Capital Partners has raised approximately $604 million in equity commitments for its Crow Holdings Realty Partners VI, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.The core-plus/value-added fund launched in January 2012 with a $750 million fundraising goal. An expected final close date is during the second quarter 2013. A recent investor is the $13 billion Louisiana Teachers Retirement System, which committed $50 million to the fund.

Crow Holdings Capital Partners decline to comment on the fundraising.

The commingled vehicle will follow the same strategy as the firm’s previous five funds in the series. Like its predecessors, Fund VI will invest in a portfolio of U.S. real estate, including industrial assets, grocery-anchored and neighborhood retail properties, multifamily housing, office buildings, hotels, and land.
