by Kali Persall

Boston-based alternative investment firm CrossHarbor Capital Partners has closed on $630 million in capital commitments for the firm’s CrossHarbor Institutional Partners 2018 fund, the company confirmed in a July 31 email.

Launched in 2017, the limited partnership vehicle follows a value-added, opportunistic investment strategy, and focuses on a highly-diversified range of assets.

The fund completed the final close on June 28.

According to CrossHarbor’s website, the firm invests in core-plus, value-add and opportunistic commercial real estate transactions. Founded in 1993, it has invested in more than $13 billion of commercial real estate on behalf of a diversified group of endowments, foundations, public and corporate pension plans, financial institutions, family offices, and sovereign entities.
