Crossbay has entered into the U.K. logistics market following the acquisition of four assets for a combined sum of approximately £80 million (€92 million/$101 million).
In Watford, the firm acquired a business park from Eskmuir Properties. The 165,000-square-foot site includes nine fully let warehouses leased to five tenants on relatively short WAULT agreements.
In Leeds, the firm has completed two transactions. The first is the purchase of a 135,000-square-foot warehouse in a Wakefield distribution estate let to listed retailer Card Factory on a long-term reversionary lease. The second is a 169,000-square-foot warehouse in Dewsbury’s Shawcross Business Park, which will be converted into two modern mid-box units.
And in Farnborough, Hampshire, the firm acquired a 41,000-square-foot warehouse let to leading parcel and courier service Hermes on a flexible lease.
