CPP Investments announces senior executive appointments

Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) has announced two senior executive leadership appointments.

Maximilian Biagosch was appointed senior managing director and global head of real assets. Biagosch, who joined CPP Investments in 2015, most recently served as senior managing director, head of Europe and direct private equity. He will continue to be head of Europe and remains a member of the organization’s senior management team.

Biagosch previously held senior roles at Permira Advisers, and was an investment banker at Deutsche Bank and BNP Paribas.

In addition, Jon Webster was appointed senior managing director and COO joining the senior management team, where he will be responsible for the organization’s technology, data, investment operations, security and corporate services functions. Webster joins CPP Investments from Boston Consulting Group, where is a managing director and partner, and is a member of the Financial Institutions and Techn
