COVID-conscious mixed-use skyscraper delivered in Miami

Miami Mayor Francis Suarez has unveiled the world’s first COVID-conscious, all-in-one, residential, hotel and medical center skyscraper in downtown Miami.

The 55-story, $500 million Legacy Tower at Miami Worldcenter is the culmination of a joint venture partnership involving Accor Hotels, Royal Palm Cos., Adventist Health and Blue Zones.

Miami Worldcenter is the largest urban core construction project and America’s second-largest real estate development in the nation. This groundbreaking marks the first major construction start at Miami Worldcenter since the beginning of the pandemic.

The Legacy Tower joint venture and partnership will create a unique residential, hospitality, health and well-being urban ecosystem within the $4 billion, 27-acre Miami Worldcenter. Once complete, Legacy will feature 310 MicroLuxe residences, 219 hotel rooms and 10 floors of medical facilities.
