Cortland, a vertically integrated, multifamily real estate investment, development and management company, announced the hiring of Michelle Johnstone as executive vice president of client relations and capital markets. In this role, Johnstone will lead capital-raising efforts across all investment strategies, focusing on U.S.-based institutional investors and consultants. Drawing on her extensive experience in client relations, Johnstone will execute business plans targeting institutional clients, foster investor relationships and implement innovative and strategic partnerships to strengthen investor relationships globally.
