Connecticut pension searches for real estate manager
The $160 million Hamden (Conn.) Employees’ Retirement Plan has posted an RFP for a core/core-plus real estate manager. The search is open to both open-end and closed-end real estate funds. The retirement plan is not looking to invest in a portfolio of listed, publicly traded securities.
The mandate is $16 million — 10 percent of the plan’s total assets.
Proposals are due March 25. The RFP is available on the website of the pension fund’s investment consultant, Dahab Associates.
