Columbia Threadneedle property head to retire

Don Jordison, property head at London-based global asset manager Columbia Threadneedle Investments, has plans to retire in May 2018.

John Willcock, property finance and commercial director, will succeed him. Willcock has worked with Jordison at Columbia Threadneedle since 1994.

Jordison has held the managing director role for the past 10 years and has been with the group for 24 years.

He attended Nottingham Trent University where he gained a degree in urban estate surveying, and later attended City University Business School where he gained an MBA.

Jordison started his career in 1981 as a trainee at Prudential, and in 1984 he joined Hambro Life where he was also a trainee. In 1985, he joined Allied Dunbar where he worked as a surveyor and fund manager.
