U.K.-based Merlin Entertainments PLC has sold a pair of ski resorts in Australia to Colorado-based Vail Resorts for A$174 million ($124 million).
The Australian ski resorts are Hotham and Falls Creek in the state of Victoria.
The deal is expected to close by June 2019.
Nick Varney, Merlin’s chief executive, said the sale would allow the firm to focus on its “core business of location-based entertainment, specifically theme parks and Midway attractions.”
