CK Asset Holdings, the Hong Kong property developer controlled by billionaire Li Ka-shing, is planning to sell a unit that owns The Center, an office tower in the city’s business district, to C.H.M.T. Peaceful Development Asia Property for approximately $5.15 billion, according to news sources.
C.H.M.T. Peaceful Development Asia Property Limited is an investment vehicle registered in the British Virgin Islands.
The Center is a 73-story tower and office space totaling 1.4 million square feet.
