The $314 million Park Employees’ and Retirement Board Employees’ Annuity and Benefit Fund (PEABF) of Chicago has launched an RFP seeking a new executive director, following the leave of Dean Niedospial in December.
The executive director oversees all fund operations, and facilitates consistent, fair and equal application of the fund’s policies and procedures.
The fund is seeking qualified applicants that have a bachelor’s degree as well as significant leadership experience in a pension fund, employee benefits fund, financial services organization, government agency, or similar institution. Leadership experience in a government pension system is strongly preferred, according to the RFP.
In addition, applicants should have institutional investment knowledge and understanding, including experience actively working with and managing an investment consultant and discussing investment ideas.
