Chesapeake Lodging Trust shareholders have approved the proposed merger of the Trust with and into a subsidiary of Park Hotels & Resorts, which was announced in May 2019.
The sales price was $2.7 billion, with the combined company’s estimated enterprise value pegged at $12 billion. It will own 66 hotels in urban and resort markets in 17 states and the District of Columbia.
