Chancerygate has opened an office in Berlin and appointed a head of Germany as the business continues to expand within Europe.
Chancerygate has recruited Jonas Hitz from BEOS, a light industrial property investor and developer. He is based in Berlin and covers the wider German market.
In his new role, Jonas has been tasked with identifying and securing core-plus and value-add income-producing investment opportunities and development sites across Germany.
The strategy will have an initial focus on the top seven German cities, comprising Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Düsseldorf and Munich, and other larger population centers.
Chancerygate has been building a platform in Europe for three years. The company has more than 860,000 square feet of class A multi-let urban logistics accommodation under construction or ready for development across five sites in Ireland, Spain and Portugal.
In the United Kingdom, Chancerygate has about 2.2 m
