CenterSquare has acquired three retail centers in the United States as part of its essential service retail strategy, expanding its national portfolio. The acquisitions include properties in Charlotte, N.C.; Altamonte Springs, Fla.; and the Seattle metropolitan area, bringing the firm’s total essential service retail portfolio to 74 assets.
The centers are unanchored neighborhood retail properties located in high-traffic corridors and established demographic markets, with tenant mixes that include national and service-oriented brands. Two of the assets are fully leased, while the Charlotte property is anchored by a mix of national tenants, and the Florida asset includes plans for capital improvements. The properties range from roughly 22,000 square feet to more than 33,000 square feet and benefit from strong surrounding population density and traffic volumes.
