Cedar Woods, Queensland Investment Corp. to deliver 400 residential assets in Australia

Cedar Woods Properties and the Queensland Investment Corp. have partnered on a significant housing development project in Robina, a suburb in Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.

According to various reports, the 50-50 partnership will deliver 400 apartments and townhouses, valued at more than A$250 million ($165 million). The development will be on a vacant site owned by QIC, which is adjacent to Robina Town Centre — the second-largest retail center on the Gold Coast. Cedar Woods will act as development manager for the project.

This project marks the first joint venture between Cedar Woods and QIC.

“Should this initial project go well and the relationship with QIC prove mutually beneficial, the potential for Cedar Woods is significant in terms of an additional future pipeline of development sites,” said Nathan Blackburne, managing director of Cedar Woods.
