CBRE names head of Western China

CBRE has announced the appointment of Andrew Deng as managing director, Western China, effective immediately.

Based in Chengdu, Sichuan, Deng will assume responsibility for CBRE’s Western China platform, including oversight for all business lines and shared services in this region.

“Andrew’s appointment reinforces CBRE’s commitment to deepening its Greater China investment beyond the more established markets. We will continue to bolster leadership ranks, hire local talent and build scale in growth markets to better support the evolving requirements of our diverse domestic client base and the expansion plans of our global clients,” says Ben Duncan, CEO of North Asia and president of Greater China, CBRE, in a statement.

Deng joins CBRE from Savills Chengdu, where he led the retail business.
