CBRE Investment Management (CBRE IM) has appointed Karoline Nader-Gräff as head of EMEA urban destinations operator division, as part of the firm’s long-term succession planning.
Nader-Gräff will succeed Eric Decouvelaere, who will step down from his role at the end of 2026 after a 40-year career, including more than two decades in the real estate industry.
Nader-Gräff will lead all operator activities across the office and retail sectors within CBRE IM’s Direct investment strategies in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The urban destinations platform represents more than €16 billion ($18 billion) in assets under management across more than 400 assets and is focused on delivering high-quality mixed-use and urban environments. The platform is uniquely positioned to navigate the structural transformation of both sectors, including the constantly evolving needs of occupiers and the importance of experience-led placemaking.
