CBRE Investment Management acquires last-mile logistics asset in Amsterdam

by Released

CBRE Investment Management (CBRE IM), on behalf of a fund sponsored by the firm, has acquired AMS CityDocks, a state-of-the-art last-mile distribution center strategically located on the western edge of Amsterdam, between the city, Port of Amsterdam and Schiphol Airport.

Developed by Proptimize and Built to Build Real Estate, the multitenant facility, which reached practical completion in September 2025, is split across two buildings spanning approximately 38,000 square meters. One of the buildings, covering 13,280 square meters (142,940 square feet), has already been leased to Medux, a leading player in the Dutch healthcare sector.

The asset has direct access to the A5 and A9 motorways and serves a substantial catchment area, with 2.3 million people living within a 30-minute radius. It also offers robust electrical infrastructure, with an exceptional energy capacity of up to 9 megawatts.

The all-electric property is expected to achieve a BREEAM Excellent rating
