CBRE Global Investors appoints key executives

CBRE Global Investors has made key promotions and appointments as it executes its strategy to be a market leader in sustainable real assets investment solutions.

Kim Hourihan has been promoted to global chief investment officer for CBRE Global Investors, effective Jan. 1, 2022, following an impressive 14-year tenure with the firm and 25 years in the industry. During her time with CBRE Global Investors, she has served as CIO – Americas direct real estate strategies and helped build and lead one of the firm’s flagship funds. Hourihan will succeed Jeremy Plummer, who has decided to retire at the end of the year after a distinguished, near 40-year career.

As global CIO, Hourihan will be responsible for all real assets investment strategies globally, driving the firm’s portfolio management functions and helping formulate and incorporate the firm’s investment market house views.
