Heidi Learner has joined CBRE Global Investors as the Americas head of real assets research.
The role formally acknowledges the expansion of the firm’s platform to include infrastructure as well as real estate, and the extension of the Americas team to cover Canada in addition to the United States.
Learner will be tasked with further raising the level of the firm’s analysis, forecasting and transaction support across the public and private real assets spectrum, including both equity and debt.
Learner’s extensive experience in macroeconomics and financial markets will add to the firm’s ability to measure real assets performance in a multi-asset context, supporting the firm’s Solutions efforts. Her appointment is the final part of a handover of responsibilities from Doug Herzbrun, chairman of global research, who will retire on July 1, 2020.
