CBRE enlists help of Emitwise to track greenhouse gas emissions data

CBRE Group has formed a strategic partnership with Emitwise, a carbon accounting software provider, and revealed that it will make a strategic investment in the company.

Emitwise will help CBRE to collect greenhouse gas emissions data from its supply chain and provide more accurate carbon-accounting capabilities to its suppliers, helping them learn where to focus efforts to accelerate decarbonization. In addition, CBRE clients will gain better insight into their value chain at scale by having exclusive access to accurate data and high-impact decarbonization opportunities.

Emitwise will play a key role in advancing CBRE’s net zero strategy by helping track and reduce Scope 3 emissions in both the company’s and its clients’ supply chains.
