Catella snaps up 60% stake in Aquila Asset Management

Catella said it will pay €9.6 million ($10 million) to acquire 60 percent of the shares in Aquila Asset Management, part of the Aquila Group.

Local management will remain minority shareholders in Aquila Asset Management after the transaction. The sellers are entitled to an additional purchase price of €1 million ($1.1 million) if certain criteria are fulfilled.

Catella said the acquisition will complement Catella’s strong existing corporate finance operations in France, as well as the continued growth of its Pan-European platform. The deal is expected to close during the second half of 2023.
