CapitaLand Ascendas REIT (CLAR) has acquired a 100 percent interest in 25 Loyang Crescent, a cluster of ramp-up logistics and industrial buildings, for S$504.2 million ($394 million), and a 50 percent interest in Ascent, a business space property at 2 Science Park Drive, for S$245 million ($192 million).
CLAR is also acquiring a 49 percent interest in a Tier III hyperscale data center in Greater Osaka for S$620.7 million ($485 million).
These acquisitions are expected to be distribution per unit (DPU)-accretive and support CLAR’s portfolio strategy, strengthening income resilience and portfolio quality.
