Cain has appointed Arvi Luoma as CIO and Joe Stelzer as chief risk officer. Both will serve on the firm’s global investment committee as the firm advances its ambition to double assets under management over the next five years.
Working alongside Cain’s co-founder and CEO, Jonathan Goldstein, Luoma will help shape the firm’s global investment strategy, oversee capital allocation, and guide portfolio development with direct oversight of investments from origination through execution and long-term asset management, value creation and capital preservation.
Luoma joined Cain following its 2024 merger with Blackbrook Capital, the specialist real estate investment manager he co-founded and led as CEO.
As chief risk officer, Stelzer will have responsibility for governance, risk management and capital discipline as Cain scales both its balance sheet and third-party capital. Since joining Cain in 2024, he has overseen the firm’s private equity portfolio companies
