Chicago-based CA Ventures has announced it is entering the build-to-rent residential sector in Europe and has hired Tim Phillips as head of residential Europe.
Phillips will be based in the firm’s London office, and he will be responsible for the development of build-to-rent and private rented sector assets across Europe, starting with the United Kingdom.
Phillips was most recently a director at Lothbury Investment Management, where he led a corporate expansion into the residential sector, establishing, promoting and raising capital for a new investment vehicle in order to acquire, develop and operate build-to-rent and private rented sector assets. His 14 years of experience in the real estate industry also includes stints at The Bozzuto Group and Marcus & Millichap.
