Brookfield Asset Management has held a final close of $9 billion for its Brookfield Strategic Real Estate Partners II, according to a filing with the SEC.
The fund was seeking to raise $7 billion and has no hard cap, according to meeting documents from the Pennsylvania Public School Employees’ Retirement System. The opportunistic fund will invest in real estate primarily in North America, Europe, Brazil and Australia.
