Bridge Investment holds $1.9b final close

Bridge Investment Group has held a $1.9 billion final close for Bridge Debt Strategies Fund II, according to IREI’s FundTracker database. The fund officially closed on Aug. 1. The firm did not comment on its fundraising efforts.

Bridge Debt Strategies Fund II, which launched in mid-2016, is a value-added fund that was seeking to raise $2 billion in total equity commitments. The real estate fund follows a similar strategy to that of its predecessor, ROC Debt Strategies Fund, which had a $400 million final close. The fund will invest in debt secured by U.S. properties.
