Brett Kahn has joined Clarion Partners as managing director and head of asset management – housing. Based in Los Angeles, Kahn will lead Clarion’s asset management platform for its growing housing portfolio, working closely with senior leadership to drive performance and innovation in the sector.
Kahn brings nearly two decades of multifamily real estate experience, recently serving as managing director and West region co-head at JPMorgan Asset Management. While there, he oversaw a $25 billion portfolio encompassing more than 41 million square feet of office, industrial and retail investments and 11,000-plus apartment units. Throughout his tenure at JPMorgan, he held progressively more senior roles in asset management, dispositions, national multifamily sector strategy and operational leadership within the Real Estate Americas group. Over his career, he has executed more than $5.5 billion in real estate transactions.
