Bouwinvest Real Estate Investors has secured a combined €288 million ($308 million) for two of its Dutch funds.
The company raised €196 million ($210 million) for its office fund and €92 million ($98 million) for its residential fund from new and existing investors.
Bouwinvest’s Dutch residential fund invests in mid-range and private-sector rental housing, primarily in the heavily urbanized western part of the Netherlands, while Bouwinvest’s Dutch office fund invests in office properties in the five largest municipalities in the country: Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague, Utrecht and Eindhoven. These cities are adding a limited volume of office stock to their current supply, while tenant demand for high-quality, sustainable office buildings in inner-city locations near public transport hubs is increasing.
The new investments will allow the company to implement the next phase of its strategy and expand its future-proof portfolio, according to Marleen Bosm
