Boris Johnson’s ‘impotence’ may finally provide Brexit clarity

Boris Johnson may finally provide investors with clarity over Brexit due to his position as an “impotent” Prime Minister.

According to Nigel Green, the founder and chief executive of financial advisory company deVere Group, the United Kingdom’s newly installed Premier will simply have to “do nothing” to deliver a “no deal” Brexit on Oct. 31. And given the current make-up of the U.K. Parliament, Green says that is all he will be able to do anyway.

“Boris Johnson will be an impotent Prime Minister,” predicts Green. “Theresa May faced tricky arithmetic in parliament, but her successor will have it even harder.
