BNP Paribas Real Estate in Spain names CEO

BNP Paribas Real Estate in Spain has appointed Frédéric Mangeant as CEO, effective on January 30th 2018.

In his capacity as CEO, Frédéric will support the strong ambitions of BNP Paribas Real Estate in Spain, developing all business lines of the company.

“BNP Paribas Real Estate is seizing the opportunity to create a new major player in Spain,” said Lauric Leclerc, deputy CEo of BNP Paribas Real Estate in charge of Property Management & International Advisory. “Frédéric is recognized for his excellent knowledge of the Spanish market and his appointment fits in with our desire to strengthen the management in the country. He will continue the successful development of our business lines thanks to his expertise and his very strong track record in real estate both domestically and internationally.”

Prior to joining BNP Paribas Real Estate in Spain, Frédéric, in 2014 became the Head of Spain of Shaftesbury Asset Management.

He began his career in 1987 in the United States. From 1990, he quickly grew Knight Frank in Spain into a successful business, where he became the firm’s first non-UK Proprietary Partner. For the next two decades (1990-2010), he developed a broadly based and innovative Spanish business, acquiring for both institutional and private client’s investments with an AIC in excess of €3 billion ($3.7 billion).

He holds a Masters in Property Management from Madrid University.
