Alan Miyasaki, Blackstone’s senior managing director real estate and head of real estate Asia acquisitions, based in Singapore, is set to leave the firm after 24 years, according to various reports.
The Business Times notes Miyasaki, who spent 18 years of his stint at Blackstone in Asia, is returning to the United States to be closer to his family. He will be replaced by Luigi Caruso, a senior managing director in the real estate group and COO of real estate Europe, based in London.
Miyasaki is responsible for the day-to-day management of the real estate group’s investment activities in Asia. Since joining Blackstone in 2001, he has been involved in a variety of real estate transactions in both the United States and Asia.
