Blackstone, the global real estate private equity firm, has put its latest strategic real estate fund on the market, Strategic Partners Real Estate VII, according to a filing with the SEC. The firm did not comment on its fundraising efforts.
A fundraising target was not disclosed in the filing.
Blackstone’s real estate platform encompasses investments across the risk spectrum from opportunistic to core-plus to debt.
The fund’s predecessor, Strategic Partners Real Estate VI, held a $1.3 billion final close in 2016.
Blackstone has $120 billion in assets under management.
