Blackstone has acquired 28 suburban logistics properties from a joint venture between investment firms Castlelake and Melcombe for €270 million ($319 million).
The Proximity portfolio totals 201,923 square meters (2.2 million square feet), located in France and Germany. About 16 properties are located in Paris and the remaining are located in Berlin, Frankfurt, Cologne and Dusseldorf. A majority of the tenants are from the ecommerce sector.
