BlackRock’s global head of infrastructure and real estate takes leave after nine-year stint

Anne Valentine Andrews has announced her departure from BlackRock after leading its real assets group for nearly a decade.

Valentine Andrews joined the world’s largest asset manager as chief operating officer (COO) for infrastructure in August 2014, subsequently became COO for both infrastructure and real estate and then global head for both businesses in 2021. Before BlackRock, she was a founding partner of the senior team that built Morgan Stanley Infrastructure (MSI), serving as managing director, COO and co-head at the firm for seven years. In the previous eight years, Valentine Andrews was at Macquarie Securities (USA) Inc., working first as a senior manager and then a senior vice president – financial products.
