BlackRock holds €700m final close

BlackRock Real Assets has completed the final close of Europe Property Fund IV, raising €700 million ($764 million) in commitments from more than 30 institutional investors in North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Since its launch in 2015, the fund has invested approximately a fifth of client commitments across six transactions in gateway European cities such as Paris, Munich, Frankfurt and Dublin. The fund has repositioned, rebuilt and recapitalized office, retail and student housing assets across continental Europe, including in Germany, France, the Nordics, the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Europe Property Fund IV has a strong pipeline of investments with a further five transactions under exclusivity.
