Real estate investment firm BH Properties has appointed Erik Svensson as senior managing director and CFO.
Svensson’s career in real estate spans 30 years, the last 10 with S&P 500 company Public Storage. As vice president of acquisitions and commercial real estate, he was responsible for the oversight of the firm’s U.S. commercial real estate portfolio.
Previously, he was senior vice president and CFO of Watt Cos., a diversified real estate investment firm with more than $1 billion in assets under management. Svensson earned a BS in Finance from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and an MBA from St Mary’s College.
