HBD and Barings have submitted detailed planning for a strategic logistics scheme in Rainham, London, which will transform a 20-acre brownfield site.
The new development, Momentum London, is being delivered by HBD and Barings in a joint venture partnership.
The proposed scheme would create 381,814 square feet of new logistics and industrial space across four units ranging from 41,000 square feet to 171,000 square feet.
Positioned on the river Thames, with potential for jetty access, Momentum offers a steppingstone into Central London and out via the A13, minutes away.
The new scheme, which is targeting BREEAM “Excellent” and EPC A ratings, will benefit from a landscaped environment with river views and high sustainability credentials, including PV solar panels and access to the Thames Cycle Path.
