Barings has appointed Sébastian Cavé as managing director and country head, Germany. Cavé will lead Barings’ real estate equity activities in Germany, overseeing origination, portfolio execution and client engagement.
Based in Frankfurt, he will be responsible for overseeing all transaction activity across the German market as well as overseeing all asset-management activities for Barings’ German portfolio. Working closely with regional colleagues, he will contribute to platform strategy and support the development of the broader European real estate business.
Sébastian joins Barings from Heitman, where he was responsible for leading the firm’s German real estate business.
