Barings, a global alternative investment manager, has acquired a cross-dock logistics asset comprising 58,000 square meters (624,307 square feet) of lettable space in Hanover, Germany, on behalf of a core European real estate strategy.
The facility, let to an ecommerce parcel distributor, is a key component of the occupier’s parcel distribution infrastructure in Northern Germany, serving as a critical hub within a nationwide logistics network that connects numerous regional depots supporting the movement of goods across the region. Located within one of Germany’s most important logistics corridors, the asset benefits from excellent connectivity and a high concentration of logistics and distribution occupiers.
