Azora, through its subsidiary platform, Tillion Data Centers, has announced the development of a new data center in Zaragoza, Spain. With an initial capacity of 150 megawatts, expandable up to 300 megawatts, Azora plans to invest up to €2 billion ($2.17 billion) in the project.
An additional €5 billion ($5.42 billion) of investment will be made by end users for computing equipment for the Data Centre
Azora’s positioning of the data center in Zaragoza, a leading data center hub alongside the FLAP-D markets (Frankfurt, London, Amsterdam, Paris and Dublin), represents the region’s growing prominence as a key hub for digital infrastructure and data processing in Europe. With a powerful combination of energy availability and connectivity, Aragon has attracted major industry players, further cementing its role as a critical epicenter for large-scale data center development.
