Aviva Investors names head of U.K. real estate

Daniel McHugh was named head of U.K. real estate at Aviva Investors and Melanie Collett was appointed head of real estate asset management.

McHugh has more than 20 years’ experience in property investment, most recently as head of continental European real estate investment at Standard Life Investments.

In his new role, McHugh will be responsible for all direct real estate activity in Aviva Investors’ specialist fund management, asset management and transaction teams.

Collett also has over 20 years’ experience in real estate debt and equity, most recently as head of asset management at Round Hill Capital from November 2015 to March 2018.

She will be responsible for the firm’s sector-focused asset management teams, development management and project management capabilities.
