Aviva Investors has appointed Rory Spriggs to its real estate equity team.
Spriggs joins as an investment manager to help drive the growth and scale of Aviva Investors’ housing strategies through strategic partnerships and co-investments. Reporting to Imogen Ebbs, head of strategic investment, this new role will build on the success of Aviva’s recent £1.5 billion ($2.0 billion) housing deployment and future growth plans.
Spriggs is a CAIA charterholder with real estate investment experience across multiple asset classes. He joins from Legal & General, where he was responsible for direct investments in long-term housing sectors, including single-family rental, urban build-to-rent and affordable housing. He played a key role in scaling the housing platforms for the business, serving as a director of the single-family rental business and most recently helping launch its Affordable Housing Fund.
