The A$95 billion ($66 billion) Australian superannuation fund QSuper has acquired two properties in the United States, reported Australian Financial Review.
The assets are the fully-leased 753,000-square-foot Bellevue office property in Washington state, which Invesco Real Estate represented the firm, and the 939-unit, twin-tower Falls Creek apartment property in in the southeastern corner of Arlington County, Va.
The acquisitions bring QSuper’s global real estate holdings to A$5.4 billion ($3.7 billion), or a little over 7 percent of the fund.
