AustralianSuper to invest in Boston office asset
Melbourne-based AustralianSuper is under contract to purchase a 49 percent stake in an office building in Boston from Brookfield Property Partners for approximately $298.9 million. Real Capital Analytics values the 31-story property at $610 million.
The office property is known as the Fleet Center and is located at 75 State St. It includes a 700-space underground garage and 25,000 square feet of street retail space.
Brookfield Property Partners acquired its 49 percent stake in 2007 for $428.3 million.
Recently, the Australian superannuation fund expanded its international portfolio with the purchase of a development site in London.
