AustralianSuper has appointed Shaun Manuell as its next CIO, effective July 1.
Manuell has led the fund’s Australian equities team for 13 years, overseeing growth in internally managed equities from approximately £500 million ($673 million) to approximately £50 billion ($67 billion).
Manuell began his finance career in London at Cazenove and JBWere before returning to Australia to join ASX-listed Equity Trustees in 2002. He was appointed to the executive team in 2003.
