Australian superannuation fund HESTA names new CEO

by Jennifer Molloy

Robbie Campo has been appointed CEO of HESTA, a A$100 billion ($71 billion) superannuation fund, effective August 2026, following a thorough search and interview process with candidates. She will succeed Debby Blakey, who announced in February she would step down after 11 years in the role.

Currently the CEO of ESSSuper, Campo’s previous leadership roles include group executive of brand, engagement, advocacy and product at Cbus and deputy chief executive of Industry Super Australia. She is chair of Women in Super and has served as a nonexecutive director of Victoria Legal Aid and as a director at Industry Fund Services.
