ATP Group CEO to resign this summer

Bo Foged, CEO of ATP Group, Denmark’s largest pension fund, has announced his resignation after more than seven years in the role.

Foged joined the pension fund on Jan. 1, 2015, as acting CFO/COO and was promoted to CEO in November 2018.

“It has been an extremely difficult decision to say goodbye to ATP, which is an outstanding institution,” said Foged. “I have no doubt that the employees at ATP have a special consciousness about the corporate social responsibility we bear and take and which enables people to create some unique results.”

Torben Andersen, chairman of ATP’s board of directors, said there has been a clear and strategic direction that yielded some of the best results in ATP’s history.

“It is a united and stronger ATP which Bo now leaves to his successor,” he added.

Foged will resign no later than this summer and thereafter take up a position as partner with Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners. An ext
