ASR Dutch Core Residential Fund nabs €250m investment from Dutch pension fund

An unnamed Dutch pension fund is investing €250 million ($263 million) in the €2.2 billion ($2.3 billion) ASR Dutch Core Residential Fund, said ASR Real Estate, part of Dutch insurance group ASR, in a Dec. 6 statement.

The ASR Dutch Core Residential Fund has a core, diversified portfolio consisting of sustainable, high-quality residential rental assets in the strongest economic and demographic regions of the Netherlands. The residential fund invests in both apartments and single-family houses in the non-regulated segment, particularly in the mid-priced rental segment. The fund has a €293 million ($308 million) pipeline, according to ASR’s website.

ASR said the fund is open to institutional investors.
