by Andrea Zander

Suffolk, United, Kingdom–based brewery Greene King has agreed to be bought by Hong Kong operator CKA Group.

The sales price was £2.7 billion ($3.3 billion).

The 220-year-old Greene King owns roughly 2,700 pubs, restaurants and hotels in total across the United Kingdom.

The deal follows another British brewer being acquired by an Asian buyer; Fuller’s was sold to Asahi for £250 million ($304 million).
